TVC Technology Solutions, a division of TVD Group, was tasked to deliver a fully integrated AV, digital signage, hospitality TV and audio system to power the immersive entertainment experience at Mega City Slough.
Mega City Slough is a large indoor entertainment venue on Slough High Street, covering around 55,000 square feet.
It offers a wide range of activities under one roof, including bowling, arcade games, laser tag, virtual reality, karaoke and sports simulators. With food and drink also available, it is designed as an all-in-one destination for families, groups of friends, parties and corporate events.
The Brief
TVC Technology Solutions was appointed to design and deliver a fully integrated audio-visual and entertainment system for Mega City Slough, connecting digital signage, hospitality television, AV distribution, zoned audio and seven dedicated karaoke rooms within one centrally managed technology environment.
Bringing together arcades, pool, virtual reality, AR darts, bowling, batting cages, clay shooting, laser quest and private karaoke experiences, Mega City required more than a collection of standalone screens and speakers.
The technology needed to support the customer journey throughout the venue, provide employees with straightforward day-to-day control and create an infrastructure capable of adapting as the Mega City concept continues to develop.
Mega City Installation Overview
TVC Technology Solutions delivered a fully integrated audio-visual and entertainment system that brings every customer-facing technology at Mega City Slough together under one centrally managed platform.
From digital signage and hospitality television to AV-over-IP distribution, zoned audio and seven private karaoke rooms, every element was carefully designed to create a seamless experience for guests while giving staff intuitive day-to-day control.
The installation included a network of iiyama digital signage displays, LG hospitality TVs, a WyreStorm AV distribution system, professional B-Tech mounting solutions and a venue-wide audio system tailored to each attraction. Dedicated karaoke rooms were also equipped with Singa software, high-quality audio equipment and reliable wired microphones, creating a consistent and engaging experience for guests.
The result is a scalable, future-ready technology ecosystem that enhances customer engagement, simplifies venue management and supports Mega City’s continued growth.
