Matthew, a founding family member of the business, has been influential in, and responsible for, the growth and development of TVD Group, which has culminated in a multi-brand, UK and industry leading business. Having gained valuable knowledge and experience working across various roles from grass roots level to becoming a retail store manager for a multi-national PLC, Matthew then utilised these skills to start a business with his father and brother, which today he proudly leads with the family values of hardwork, determination, quality and service that has served the company well since 1996. Matthew’s entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen continues to create strong growth for the group and employment for over 50 team members.

Dan Brown

Dan Brown

Purchasing Director

Dan gained a wealth of experience working for an industry relevant multinational PLC, progressing his career to Area Manager level, before establishing the TVD Group with his father and brother in 1996. Having refined his skills in merchandising, stock control, purchasing and supply, and all aspects of strategic sales management, Dan was then able to utilise these skills and knowledge to help grow and develop what has now become a leading national UK supplier of AV products and services.  Dan is at the forefront of TVD B2B trade sales, managing a successful sales team, as well as taking on the role of Head Buyer for the Group.  In 2016, Dan led the team that developed their own Mitchell and Brown TV brand, which has been a real success story for the Group and continues to provide opportunities for growth and expansion, in line with the company-wide strategic aims.

Chris Whitlock

Chris Whitlock

Technical Director

Chris served his time as an Engineer at United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority and achieved a HND in Materials Technology. After 12 years building his career, knowledge and skills, Chris then moved into the audio visual industry and trained as a Broadcast Engineer for live broadcasting. As Project and Installations Manager working on large outdoor LED screen technology and broadcasting screen hire, Chris was involved in the entire design, specification and installation process of a range of AV systems developing his expertise and technical abilities in this fast-paced and evolving industry. Chris’ vast knowledge and technical experience is now put to good use as he oversees a team of 25 expert field engineers and provides technical advice, guidance and invaluable support to a range of customers across a vast array of AV projects.

Lucia Maguire

Head of Strategy and Efficiency

After completing an under-graduate degree in History and Politics, Lucia began her career in the manufacturing sector where she honed her commercial management skills and specialised in HR. Lucia then went on to become an Executive Director for a national UK Tour Operator and Hotel Chain and completed her MBA with distinction in 2018 from the University of Manchester. As the newest addition to the senior management team, Lucia works across TVD Group both from a commercial and operational perspective to ensure that we are focussed on achieving our ambitious strategic aims.
